I decided to screen print the slogan of the campaign onto various materials which were salvaged from the waste bin. This was a deliberate conceptual decision, it also produced some really interesting visual results. I managed to find newspaper spreads that featured articles that tie in nicely to the wider issues of waste management which I found entertaining. I then created some more polished prints on stocks which represent the four bin colours used throughout the rest of my branding. Screen printing always produces an authentic, rich aesthetic which is unique and can't be replicated. That's why I love it and I think this links beautifully with the uniqueness of the Real Junk Food project.
